Junior Toltecatl

Hello, I am a self-taught Indigenous artist born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona and have been creating art for almost 20 years. Like many urban youth, graffiti was an accessible entry point into the world of art for me. I felt like painting in the streets bypassed the barriers of entry into galleries and brought the art directly to the public. Since my younger days, I have transitioned to more permanent works on canvas, exhibiting my work in galleries.

I’m honored that after nearly two decades of meticulously refining my craft I am able to share my work with many more people by growing my artistic practice and creating more art.
